Is the church really homophobic? Is it really against gay people? I have to wonder. Because if they truly were, why is Jesus portrayed so hotly?

Every crucifix that I have ever seen has a Jesus with piercing blue eyes, long flowing hair, skin glistening in the light and the best damn six pack you have ever seen on a man. Have you seen pictures of Jesus lately? He could be a cover model for GQ or Men's Health magazine any day of the week. In the church I grew up in, the crucifix at the head of the church was the most naked I had ever seen man in my life, until high school. I am personally not gay, but if Jesus keeps looking like a beaten, bruised and naked Brad Pit, I can see why some men do.
