Now, my wife works one of those "on-call" jobs, and her Boss/partner has been out sick for over two months now. So that means that she has been on-call everyday for two months and running her office by herself for two months. She is wiped out, and has not had a good break in two months. Yes, she was called in for two days during the Labour day holiday.  So I just got news that her boss/partner will be back full time in one months time and we can take a full week off for vacation.

So what should we do? As with most Americans, the budget is very much limited, we cannot afford to leave the country and flying is out the question. We are in Maryland, and I am willing to drive as much as eight hours in any direction, except out to sea. We do not camp! I repeat this, so that you can all understand that I am a Black man, and we do not camp. Hotels please, with air conditioning. We can be kids at heart, we can enjoy a theme park or two, but I refuse to live with anymore kids, so no kid themed hotels. Oh, the Amish suck, so forget them, there is only so much apple pie and sauerkraut a man can eat. Any suggestions?
