It's doubtful the link was ever intended for reporting a bullying incident following a lopsided football game. But according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, that's what happened after Aledo's 91-0 thumping of Fort Worth Western Hills Friday night.
"I have to address it," Aledo head coach Tim Buchanan told the paper. "It's not something you can laugh off or anything like that. What they said was that I should've told my players to ease up and not play so hard."
The Aledo principal has to investigate the complaint and prepare a written report. Buchanan said he supports the school administration.
Aledo is the top-ranked Class 4A program in the state and is 7-0, including 4-0 in District 7-4A. In its four district games, Aledo has scored 84, 77, 84 and 91 points.
